Program Overview
In 2012, CMC plans to conduct:
- two feature concerts,
- four resident artiste concerts,
- four emerging artiste concerts, and
- one or more special events, subject to overseas artiste's agreement.
A resident artiste concert is presented by our talented artistes residing in Australia.
An emerging artiste concert is presented by our “next” generation of artistes (talented youngsters and mature adults) aspiring to be competent concert artistes.
A feature concert is presented by eminent artistes from India. All the artistes are from India and their primary reason for coming to Melbourne is to present the CMC concert.
When the artistes are in Melbourne for a feature concert, CMC can also request them to present a program exploring various aspects on the art form for the benefit of the CMC community. This is called a special event. This program may be coordinated by our senior resident artistes by providing artistic input. This is a ticketed event.
In some instances, CMC requests prominent artistes from India to present a concert for the benefit of the CMC community, when they are in Melbourne for other reasons – conference, teaching, visiting friends, tourism etc. This is called a special concert. The artiste(s) from India may be supported by our resident artistes in the concert. We have not scheduled a special concert for 2012. If an opportunity presents itself, then CMC would do so. Please note that a special concert is a ticketed event.

Annual Membership Program
The Annual Membership Program provides you an effective way to attend CMC events. The membership is for your family only.

- You pay $50.00 for 2012 membership (Paid between January - April 2012).
- You pay $35.00 for 2012 membership (Paid between May - October 2012).
- You buy one or more adult and / or concession tickets at member prices for attending each special and feature concert.

- Free entrance for all resident artiste concerts and emerging artiste concerts.
- Member ticket prices carry a discount over Non-Member ticket prices.

- You pay a one time fee at the start of the year to cover your membership and tickets for the whole year, excluding special events / concerts; please talk to a CMC Volunteer for the pricing by sending an e-mail to cmc@cmcmelbourne.org.au with your phone number so that a CMC Volunteer can contact you.

- Convenience of not having to book tickets and pay for each feature concert.

How to Apply for / Renew Membership
You can do this in four ways:
- Complete the application form and mail it with a cheque to CMC's PO Box stated in the application form.
- Download and print the application form. To download the form, click here.
- Complete the application form. Please nominate phone number and an e-mail address so that we can easily communicate with you.
- Mail the completed application form with a cheque for membership to the CMC address in the application form.
- CMC will send an electronic receipt to your e-mail address.
- Enrol as member / renew your membership at a CMC event.
- Complete the application form. Please nominate phone number and an e-mail address so that we can easily communicate with you.
- Hand in the application form and make the payment by cash / cheque at the Box Office.
- CMC will send an electronic receipt to your e-mail address.
- Contact CMC and pay by bank transfer.
- Send en e-mail to CMC (e-mail address is cmc@cmcmelbourne.org.au) stating that you want to enrol as a member / renew your membership and pay by bank transfer; please provide a phone number (land line please) to contact you.
- A CMC volunteer will contact you and complete the application process over the phone; you will also be provided with a reference number and CMC's bank account details for making a bank transfer.
- Do a funds transfer through internet banking quoting the reference number.
- After the funds are received, CMC will send an electronic receipt to your e-mail address.

- Apply for / renew Membership through the online ticket booking system.
- The online booking system allows you to apply for / renew membership.
- Click here to purchase tickets through the online system.
- CMC will send an electronic receipt for your membership to your e-mail address.
How to Purchase Tickets
You can purchase tickets for a CMC event in three ways:
- Purchase tickets on the day of the event at the box office.
- Send en e-mail to CMC (e-mail address is cmc@cmcmelbourne.org.au) stating that you want to purchase tickets; please provide a phone number (land line preferable, if not mobile) to contact you. A CMC Volunteer will contact you to take your booking.
